How the lecture's theoretical and practical parts will proceed.
Two-day
Theoretical Course
Course is based on evidence and supported by 18 years of author’s clinical experience in pediatric dentistry. It is full of clinical examples and video demonstrations of different procedures and may be useful for pediatric dentists with any level of clinical experience or general practitioners who work with children.
DAY 1
- Caries as a disease. Risk assessment. Integrative approach in prevention and treatment.
- Professional oral hygiene - goals, materials, techniques.
- Fissure sealing - materials and guidelines.
- Fluorides, hydroxyapatite, CPP-ACP, xylitol, probiotics - their use in preventive schemes for the patients.
- Minimally invasive approaches for caries management.
- Local anesthesia - how to make it safe, effective and with minimal discomfort for the patient.
- Isolation - rubberdam and alternative ways.
- Composite restorations in primary dentition - class I, class II, anteriors.
- Molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH) - diagnostics and treatment approaches.
DAY 2
- Endodontic treatment in primary teeth. Diagnostics.
- Indirect pulp treatment - effectiveness and treatment guidelines.
- Direct pulp capping and partial pulpotomy in primary teeth - indications, guidelines and long term success.
- Pulpotomy - indications, comparing different materials, technique.
- Treatment of irreversible pulpitis in primary teeth: working length determination, instrumentation, irrigation and obturation protocols.
- Conservative treatment of apical periodontitis in primary dentition - indications, materials, long term results. Indications for extraction and space maintainers.
- Restoration after endodontic treatment. Restoring totally destroyed incisors with composite.
- Restoring teeth with crowns. Indications, materials for core build up, hemostasis. Stainless steel, zirconia and Bioflex crowns - clinical steps and cases, long term results.
One-day
practical course
ENDO-RESTO HANDS-ON with Dr. Tetyana Peshko.
An intensive practical course for 18 participants will take place at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in Kateřinská Street (Prague). The course is designed for maximum efficiency and specially prepared phantom jaws will be provided. The fee of CZK 19,900 includes all equipment, instruments, and refreshments throughout the event.
The only thing you need to bring with you is your own loupes.

Dr. Tetyana Peshko
Dr. Tetyana Peshko is a specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics with 18 years of clinical experience.
She graduated from Kharkiv State Medical University (Ukraine) and got a postgraduate education at Rijksuniversitat Groningen, Netherlands. She obtained a degree in nutrition therapy and got a diploma with distinction at College of Naturopathic Medicine, London in 2024. Since 2024 she is being an assistant of clinical supervisor at CNM clinics.
Dr. Peshko was a winner of and international contest for the best clinical case - Anna Fuks Award in 2018.
She was a speaker of international congresses in many countries ( Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, India, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Lithuania, Poland). She was a speaker of the IAPD 2019 and AAPD 2024 Congresses.
She is a cofounder of New Smile Dental Clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine and an author of international educational project for pediatric dentists «Pedodontics Pro», which helped hundreds of pediatric dentists to improve their practice.

What language will the lecture be in?
The lecture and the practical course will be held in the English language. The lecture will be interpreted into Czech. The practical course will be without interpretation.

Yes, parking is available directly inside the Institute of the Academy of Sciences (Vídeňská Street).
